Why does the player not ever work anymore? Also when I click on a response the page does nothing.

Try clearing your browser cache. You may have old scripts saved in there.

I think it is the actualization of the flash player that do not work with the course. I have the same problem but not so severe, I can finish the lessons. Try reverting to an old flash version or changing the browser.
